Bomb scare in Chestermere
Suspicious package was just a ticking clock

Police evacuated 40 Chestermere homes Monday afternoon after Canada Post received a suspicious package and called the RCMP.

The post office contaced police about 2 p.m. after placing the package in a field near West Chester Green.

It turned out to be a ticking clock and electronics mailed to a Chestermere resident as a gift.

Although the package certainly appeared suspicious, it was actually a gift for a Chestermere resident, said Sgt. Art Pittman of the Chestermere detachment.

A 150-metre perimeter was established around the package. Forty houses were evacuated around West Chester Green, starting at about 3 p.m. It took about 30 minutes to get everyone out.

A reception area was established for the displaced residents at the Town Hall on Marina Drive.

Chestermere RCMP, EMS, the fire department and public works were on scene.

The matter was resolved by the evening and residents were allowed to return home.

Yesterday night was finally a "sleep night." After much deliberation, I realized the North's or the Artic's 24hour daylight is my Kryptonite.

I always thought I was awesome and that nothing could stop me. I was a confident little fuck.

Ofcourse, I learned my lesson when I realized that you could not plan everything in your life.
Such as these little stories:
When I lost a game to some noob.
When I couldn't get my dream job.
When I lost my grandmother.
When I had to stop a fast moving Pallet of Pop from crushing me.
When I couldn't find certain Issues of the Backlash series.
When I couldn't buy everything I wanted.
When I got bad marks because I didn't study.
When I lost files or work because I didn't save or backup my files.
When my wrist got fucked because some Inuk kid kicks my hand to stop me from picking up a quarter from the floor.
When I had to sell all of my furniture after just buying them for my house because I had to move to the Artic.
When Head Office wants you to decrease labour but gives you 400 extra man hours of work per month.
When one of your so called friend doesn't want pick you up @ the airport after spending two years in the Arctic.

Life is like this because majority of the people in the world are directly or indirectly screwing over each other. Be it your boss's secret agenda to milk your very soul. Your so called friends with their investment proposals which will only benefit them. The goverment's mishandling of your tax money. Or some random drunk driver running over your loved ones. Some Health Inspector who abuses their power and closes down your business.

The problem is, we do this to achieve our "High Standard of Living."

I should really just not blab on this blog because I think we're all already off topic in our whole LEJ Way.OUT Project Asia.

FYI: June 7th, 2007 Security cameras at LEJ headquarters CS captured the following images:

Several witnesses confirm the individual caught on tape is none other than the infamous limited edition (10K world wide) 'smile time' Angel. Among the missing items were packets of pigs blood (whats this doing at LEJ? We get thirsty sometimes u know), throwing knives, a harpoon (armor piercing), several designer button up shirts, gel and a hockey stick.

One of the items left by the thief was a note with early Birthday wishes to a BiZ LP signed PC.

If you see the above individual (not on re-runs) do not approach without adequate ninjitsu training, a stake or some girl named Buffy or some British dude named Wes by your side. Although he is small and made of fluffy stuff he can still kick ass (puppet demons from Smile Time can confirm that this dude kicks some serious puppet a%&).

Here’s Y21’s 10 step homecoming plan. Homecoming you ask? Isn’t Y21 too old for that?

Y21’s fail proof 10 step plan to move south.

Step 1:

LP: stays at Y21's. Y21 pays LP to stay there. Why? LP will raise Y21's property value by his mere presence. Plus LP will eventually lead Y21 to a pot of gold or a sack of rice. Meh? Both are nice.

Step 2: see step 1. Done. Game Over. Pwnage.

Step 3?: Y21 gets a smart car to store his bag.

Step 4: Mid-winter, Midnight BBQ at Y21's. JP can flip burgers.

Step 5: Y21 hires high school kids with mad macro to move furniture + practice wrestling moves on.

Step 6: Elder Inuk stalks Y21 + asks about his Facebook.

Step 7: Ex-Sumo wrestler gives Y21 a relaxing massage.

Step 8: Y21 starts pwning at the WSVG Sweden (better start honing them pwnage skills) and with the $ top prize money $ buys LP a nice Digital Video Camera. JP special edition Adidas shoes. And picks up some really nice socks + a carton of milk for himself.

Y21 recently mentioned that our blog no longer focuses on the topic of Project Asia. After looking back at the posts, there aren't that many on topic, posted by all three of us! A little project management would do the trick but our priorities right now are our careers: Y21 with his micromanagement a la Starcraft prospect, LP with his potential creativity path, and my career building in commerce.

As you all know its been a busy time here at LEJ…but we’re never too busy to drop a line. As you know some of us just suffer from Low APM syndrome.

This weekend C.O.P. hosted the FIS Half-Pipe World Cup! Awesome Canadian, Jap and Chinese reps! On the ladies side Jiayu Liu of China took 3^rd. While on the guys side riders Ryoh Aono and Kohhei Kudoh hit big air and crazy combos to grab 1st and 2^nd and they let everyone know Jap riders have mad skills. Canada’s Brad Martin held it down with an insane 1260 and once again like in Arosa finished 3^rd. Overall a lot of big air hits, mctwists, switch riding and tons of 9’s and 10-80’s.

If you’re looking for new boarding gear, check out Never Summer. These guys have wicked board designs.

On a side note if you liked The Departed you gotta check out the original badass true triad azn version: Infernal Affairs part I & II (skip III). This is true gangsta sh*t at its best.

Where’s Y21 u ask? Rumors run a muck that he is currently in Tibet in some super Zenny Zen state of meditation on his road to be a true Yoda Buddha Master, Good luck dude! Meal consisted of: Tako, Ikura, Tamago, Unagi, Ninjin, Smoked Salmon, Nigiri, Rice, Coke, ICE (ice is a delicacy where I live), Wasabi, 10 kinds of soy sauce, Rice Vinegar, Gohan, Nori Flakes, etc etc.
A Japanese Restaurant in Calgary would charge us approximately $1400.32 with GST of 7%. That's a lot of money for just 4 people's 1 dinner.
(I think the 6% rate is overated.)

Hello everyone,

I'm a poster on this blog and I have no idea what is going on.

LP is updating the comic which is great.

Y21 made some stationary and created fake meeting minutes? And what is abpreviation? I think it should be abbreviation but that would not have meaning in the specific context with what was posted. Why not make the posting like the kind of music you like (see Y21's profile). And why is "giggles" still at the top of the screen where only Y21/L can change as blog administrator? Balderdash!

I'm just kidding. As long as you enjoy what you are posting, it's all in good fun! But I still don't know what's going on! I'll send Y21 an invite to Gmail to set up the blog email. So send your spam to Y21's Hotmail before he removes his email from this site! Haha!

Just wanted to show you all the locations of where most of our visitors are from.
I painted it, that's why I'm a bit messy on the photo.
The photo shows me holding the 2000kg painting.
Also, JPS was spewing accounting pink of him, it kinda got my right cheek & hat.
Wow, for some reason, Southern Alberta is the most active.... must be a house on the border of SE/NE of a major city?
I'm soo happy I have Photoshop now, I can do "Abpreviations" segments a lot better next time.
